it's that time of year again.
its getting colder, the leaves have fallen, and wreaths decorate front doors.
December always make me feel like a kid again. I never feel alone in December.
I have lists of christmas gifts to buy, parties to attend, christmas cards to mail out.
Instead of getting frustrated with all that you have to do this time of year, think about what it
would be like if you didnt have these things to do. How depressing!
It is good to be reminded that there are people in your life worth doing all of this for.
Christmas brings us together. It is this time of year that we should remember that.
Now here is a Christmas session that I did with someone near and dear to me... one of the reasons I am not alone.
My sister is gorgeous.
I adore her.
I want to be like her one day.
She is the most caring, forgiving, and loving person that I know.
We should all try to be more like her,
especially around the holidays.
Lately I have been getting asked a lot, "what should we wear for our event?".
In this post, I will let you know!!!
Forget browns and kahki, you can have fun with your clothing! The goal is to have everyone compliment each other but not be too matchy-matchy.
Solids are best but dont be afraid to add a few accents of patterns or stripes. Stay away from logos on t-shirts or anything that might draw attention away from your face.
Layers and texture look great, not only is it a great way to add color and make your look complete. But by adding a scarf or blazer you can change you look later in the shoot by removing a layer.
I also think its a great idea to have one person in the group wear a fun crazy pattern, like an animal print. You can also have that person wear the accent color as their man color to mix things up a bit yet pull it all together.
Pick fun, rich colors that light up your face. Jewel tones look really great!
Decide your accent color and try to apply that to your jewelry, shoes, undershirt, headbands, scarf, tights, etc. It is all in the details and it makes for a really fun look.
Here are some ideas of what to wear for your session that I found online.
Hello! I am Briana! I am a mom and a wife. I love teaching my son tons of things and we do home preschool every day. I make activities for him and my niece who comes to my house two times a week to learn with him. I also do photography and paint watercolors and wooden signs.
