I love these two boys.
They are so much fun.
When they heard they were going to be able to get messy with paint, they were so excited.
I was looking forward to doing this session also!
I knew these two boys would be perfect for a session like this and
I couldnt have been more correct.
I love how these photos turned out.
The great thing is that their mom and dad will have a fantastic and colorful painting to go along with the photos from this session.
I had a blast doing this shoot. Something tells me they might have too! Thank you boys! Lets do it again some time!!
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I have tried my hand at blogging before but never really stuck to it. I decided to give it another go, so here I am. I am normally a very private person so it is hard for me to sit here and try to think of things to write about.
Just a little warning before you read farther- I'm a bad speller and I dont use punctuation when I should, my thoughts are rambling and right now I have a migraine so I'm positive this post will be crap. I'm an artist, not an english professor. The creativity in my brain pushes out the things I deem to be useless, such as anything needed to get by in the real world.
I wish I had more time to work on my art. I have so many ideas but never enough time to do it. I have an art studio in my grandparents attic but when I get off work I'm just too tired to go there to do anything. One of my new years resolutions is to get back to what makes me happiest--- BEING CREATIVE.
This all started last year when I entered the sketchbook project 2011. I posted about it on my other blog. I decided to enter again for 2012 and use this to get t my creative juices flowing again.
A little bit about the project---- you sign up, you pick a theme, you use the theme as a starting off point and go from there. You can alter the book any way you want to. The theme I chose was, I Remember You. I chose this theme because I had planned to draw things that reminded me of my childhood. With my 30th Birthday on the horizon I have been thinking a lot about my younger days ......SIGH....
In October, the theme of my sketchbook took on a new meaning after my brave, wonderful, amazing aunt, Amelia "Molly" Rhoades, passed away after her battle with ovarian cancer. She was such an amazing woman and no one could ever replace the hole left in our family by her passing. She holds a special place in all of our hearts and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of her.
I have included many things in this book, memories, loved ones that have passed, beloved pets that have passed, some of you reading may recognize things in this book, most of you will be confused about the meaning. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Unless your going to be mean, then keep your comments to yourself : o).
- the pictures start with the front cover and end with the back cover, some of the pages are stand alone and some face the other page, you can probably figure out which ones go together, you're all smart people-
- also, the scanner made some of these blurry, but you get the idea.
